Folded Creature — Draw. Share. Surprise.
Folded Creature is a collaborative drawing game where friends each draw one part of a creature. We take your privacy seriously and collect as little data as possible.
When you play Folded Creature, we store the following data temporarily on our servers (Firebase Realtime Database) to enable multiplayer gameplay:
Your first name (as entered by you when starting or joining a game), and the drawings you create during gameplay. This data is associated with a randomly generated game code, not with any account or device identifier.
We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, precise location data, device identifiers, or any other personal information. We do not require you to create an account. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
Drawings are stored temporarily on Firebase to enable the multiplayer experience. Game data is not permanently archived and may be deleted periodically. Drawings are only accessible to people who have the specific game code.
The app stores recent game codes and completed creature images locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data or deleting the app.
Folded Creature uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain device information and use advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can learn more about Google's data practices at Google's Privacy Policy. For users under the age of consent, we request child-directed ad treatment from AdMob.
Folded Creature is designed to be family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only user-provided data is a first name used for display purposes during gameplay. We comply with applicable children's privacy laws including COPPA.
We use the following third-party services:
Firebase Realtime Database (Google) for multiplayer game storage, and Google AdMob for advertising. Both are operated by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Multiplayer game data is stored temporarily and may be automatically deleted after 30 days. We do not maintain long-term records of games or drawings.
Since we don't collect personally identifiable information or require accounts, there is no personal data to request, modify, or delete. If you have concerns about any data associated with a specific game code, please contact us.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date below.
